Licensing Model

One of the driving forces that led to the development of Synergy ∞IPV was the trend of PBX
manufactures to license everything users/trunks/features etc.. Our philosophy is why should you have
to pay for a feature if its already in the code base. We give you access to everything that the system has
to offer.

The result is we have three seat licenses;

Extension License:

This is a license needed for a SIP endpoint this license also includes  mailbox license which you can use for that extension or any other virtual mailbox needed.

Mailbox License:

This is a license that you need if you want to create a mailbox without an extension. Remember however you can utilize an unused extension's mailbox. A mailbox license was really created for deployments of Synergy ∞IPV in a 3rd party voice mail environment such as when it's sold as RoomScape (Copyrighted Hotel Software).

VM Port License:

Each VM port license that you buy will provide an additional processor thread for the voice mail to run in. Auto attendant or voice mail heavy systems, it is recommended to have multiple VM Port license as this allows for a more responsive voice mail system and allows you to take advantage of the 64bit processors used by the Synergy ∞IPVsystem.
