Switch Provisioning
Depending on your level of access into the Synergy-IPV network you may not see this window when you double click on a switch in your "Switches List" if you don't have access to this window then double clicking on a switch will bring you directly to the Switch Configuration window as talked about below.

Supported Thin Clients & Clusters | This is a list of all Clusters and Thin Clients which can currently access this soft switch. You can add as many thin clients as you require. You can also add as many Clusters as you require. |
Validate DID's
This function scan's the soft switched DID as configured and checks then against the Synergy-IPV CNA (Central Number Authority) server to insure the are in fact provisioned and directed to the correct services. This feature can also be reach via System--> Validate DID's in the Switch Configuration Editor menu. As the next version of our CNA service comes online this function will no longer be needed and will be removed.
Switch Configuration
Configuring a Synergy-IPV soft switch is simple and easy to follow. The system is layed out into 9 configuration sections.
Zones
Zone play a key roll in all other configuration sections. Think of them as sub soft switches or departments within your company each can function independently of other zones in the same soft switch. All the other system sections are linked to a zone each soft switch must have at lest one zone to function. Learn More
Extensions
Extensions are SIP endpoints, Mailboxes, and Virtual extensions that make up the core of the systems dial plan.
Ring Plans
Ring Plans allow you to build ring schedules for each zone in the soft switch. You can have as many ring plans per-zone as your need. Each fully controllable by hour, minute, day, week and month.
Ring Groups
Ring groups allow your to ring groups of extension at a time by dialing a single extension number. They are commonly used in conjunction with DID blocks.
DID Blocks
DID Blocks allows you to group DID numbers together via a ring plan schedule.
Fax DID's
These are DID numbers which are to be process by the Fax Buffer converted to Email for fax delivery.
Auto Attendant
These are menus that a caller an interact with by dialing numbers on the dial pad. Each Auto attendant menu is also assigned an extension number to allow for easy adding to call forwarding, DID blocks and other advanced system configuration options.
Hospitality
Hospitality enables your to map room numbers to extension numbers for easy integration into a 3rd party property management system.
Aastra Apps
Aastra Apps is where you go to configure advanced voice applications only available to Aastra endpoint like Non-ringing caller ID, On call phone display menus etc..
