Message Communities

Message communities allow you to group extension together for delivery of phone message alerts. Currently the primary use for communities is our "Patent Pending" Non-riging phone caller ID with dynamic pickup soft-keys feature. In the future the use for these communities will be integrated into our instant message service as well as other planned notification features.

On Call Softkeys

These feature allow you to create off hook "active call" soft-ley layout which are displayed on the bottom 6 soft-keys for both the Aastra 6755i and 6757i phones. This allows quick access to call routing and transfer features that do not normally need to be seen when the phone is idle.

Button Type: Function:
TRANSFER Will allow you to transfer the call to a different extension or outside number
VM TRANSFER A prompt will display on the telephones screen asked you to enter a mailbox number to transfer the caller to. Once entered press "OK" on the screen and the caller will be transferred directly to the mailbox entered.
CONFERENCE Will allow you to set up a 3 party telephone conference call
GROUP TRANSFER Will display a list of ring groups by name allowing you to select which one you wish to transfer the call to.
HANGUP Will hangup the telephone call
MORE Currently has no use but in the future will display a list of additional functions.
PARK LIST

Will display a list of ALL park orbits along with there states and CID information if a call is currently parked to an orbit allowing you to select a FREE park orbit to park the call on.

Push Servers

Depending on network configuration and Aastra endpoints movement form LAN to LAN you might need to setup additional push server that the Aastra endpoint will accept messages from. If you are having issues with Visual Voicemail or CID popups then more then likely your Aastra endpoint is registered on a server your Aastra endpoint wont accept additional XML signaling from you just need to add that registration servers IP hear and your all set.
