Each zone can have as many DID blocks as are needed. DID blocks provide a way to group DID numbers so that you only have to program the group not each individual DID number. If you are simply programming a DID to ring a single extension try putting that DID number in the extensions personal DID field. Use a DID Block if have DID's you want to control with ring plan's.

Call | Each ring plan zone can have an extension number assigned, SIP, Mailbox, VIRTUAL, Menu, Ring Group, etc. You can even have it ring outside the zone by entering the extension in the following formation extnumber@zonename. You can enter a “?” and hit enter on the line and a search box will be displayed allowing you to select the extension you want to ring. If you leave the call field empty the DID will not make use of the given ring plan. |
Alert Community | The Aastra SIP community you want to get a inbound caller ID pop-up on there phone when a new call comes in. This feature was created to allow phones not in the ring group to see the incoming caller id information and via the dynamic pickup softkey answer the call without ringing the phone. **This feature is Patent Pending** |
Alert Beep | If set to yes the Aastra endpoint will beep one time to alert the use to a new caller ID pop-up. |
